Fund Raiser Donations Needed
Although it seems like it was just Christmas, we are already in full planning mode for the upcoming Annual Outstretched Hands of Romania SPRING Fundraiser scheduled for March 25, 2023! We are reaching out to see if you might be willing to help us make this year’s event the best yet!
Last year the Giving Tree was wildly popular, and we ran out of gift cards early. This year, we want to keep the fun going as long as possible, so we are asking for your help in securing as many gift cards as possible. If everyone (particularly those who reside in SE Wisconsin) who receives this letter is able to secure at least one gift card, that would be such a blessing. Specifically, we are seeking -
· Gift cards that are at minimum $20, but preferably $25 or more (all proceeds go to the ministry)
· Gift card options that are in line with the values of OH*
· Think restaurants, gas cards, grocery stores, movie passes, lessons, home services … the sky is the limit! Gift cards should be for national or local (SE Wisconsin) establishments.
Would you consider approaching establishments that you frequent or next time you make a purchase somewhere if they would like to donate a gift card that meets the criteria above to help benefit OH? You will find the Fundraiser invitation included here as “proof” of the event if needed. As OH is a registered 501c3 (non-profit organization), we can provide any donors the attached (printable) receipt for tax deduction purposes.
We’d also welcome larger donations/gift cards for the Silent Auction valued at $100 or more. Think experiences – salons, auto services, handyman services, gym memberships, rock climbing, etc.….

*Sadly, over the past few years, some businesses have become extremely vocal in the encouragement and collaboration in, profiting from policies and products that promote extreme ideologies that are harming our youth. We’d like to attempt to avoid soliciting gift cards from the most obviously violators where possible.
