In this video, I talk about how the Lord challenged me to trust Him alone for personal support for our family in our early years on the mission field, and to NOT ask people to help us, but to only make our needs known to the Lord. This idea was not so easy for me, but by making our personal needs known only to the Lord, I was able to more fully appreciate the creative ways He provided for us.
Brad Hayes testifies how the Lord stretched his faith in 2016 and in the process helped him to be more generous, and most importantly, more sensitive to the Lords leading. In Matthew 5:42, Jesus said, "give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away."
Brad Hayes, the director of Outstretched Hands of Romania (OHR), shares briefly about being blocked into the States for 3.5 months due to the Corona virus and international travel being shut down for so long. Plus, Brad starts a series of testimonies of how he is learning to trust the Lord more for finances and other material needs for his life and OHR ministry, and learning to know the Lord and His ways better in the process!
INVITATION TO MISSIONS is a heartfelt testimony of how and when Ana Ursaru felt the Lord calling her to missions, and to become part of the Outstretched Hands of Romania team. Ana is a special young lady and we are all very proud of her and honored to have Ana serving on our team in Romania.
The way we do ministry might have momentarily changed during these last few months, but our heart and vision has stayed the same. Last July we made this video about our growing involvement in the lives of children and parents in the village of Curcani. We long to see a thriving church in every village and a community center in every church!
LOVE sometimes means to simply "BE THERE" for people! Watch this short update from our Hope Community Center in Caramidari near Calarasi, Romania. The Hope Center was the first of the five community centers we now have. This center is vital to Caramidari but also very precious to our visitors over the years, those who helped us start it, and those who equip us to serve through their finances and prayers. Even in the middle of the trials and distress that challenges all of us in some way, we can and must find creative ways to show God’s love! Sometimes we must define love as “doing what we can - when we can.” God bless all of you . . . the Outstretched Hands team
