Meet Alina - A Child of Destiny
The Children of Destiny program was started to raise needed finances for the work of our nine Community Centers in Calarasi County, Romania. We consider each of the 800 children we work with weekly to be Children of Destiny who are created and called by the Lord for a special purpose! Our part is to love, value, and invest in them, helping them to know the Lord better and discover that destiny!
Children from that community meet 2-4 days a week at our centers. They are taught to read, learn important life and spiritual lessons, are helped with schoolwork and school supplies, enjoy arts and crafts, learn musical instruments, take field trips, are fed one or two meals, and are helped with humanitarian and medical needs.
Due to the poverty in our area, in many cases, our staff’s interaction with the kids is their only family.

To give online, click here.
1)Go down to the bottom of the page where it say’s Children of Destiny monthly payment”. Click on the monthly donation amount you want to commit to. You can also make a one-time donation or donate for a year.
2)Provide all the needed information until the end of the online process. Important Note: In the PayPal giving process, you can sign up to receive reminders from PayPal to give monthly.
3)Periodic reports. You will be sent quarterly reports with a story about children or activities from one of our centers. If you want more communication, please let us know, and we will do our best to help facilitate that.
To give by check, make it to Outstretched Hands of Romania with a note designating it for the Children of Destiny program. You will be added to our mailing list and receive quarterly reports. Send the check to:
