RAISING AN ARMY OF CHILDREN AND POOR TO BRING THE GOSPEL TO THE UNREACHED PARTS OF ROMANIA

Building Projects Ministry Overview

From the inception of Outstretched Hands of Romania (OH) in 2003, we understood that building projects would be a regular part of our activities. I always say, "people before projects", but projects can and should help us care for people. OH has helped build church buildings, small ministry facilities, homes for flood victims, fixed homes for the poor and elderly, and renovated apartments for housing short term mission teams.

Most recently we began construction of our first Community Centre for the disadvantaged... the Hope Centre in Caramidari. We began to use part of the Centre October 1st 2010, and look forward to when we have full use of the Centre in 2011, as additional resources become available. We hope to establish Community Centre's like the Hope Centre in multiple locations in our area over the next five years. Building projects are a great way for visitors from other countries to utilize their talents and resources in building the Kingdom of God on the mission field.
